The route that crosses Acele Morarului is very spectacular and presents an exposure that is difficult to find on other equally accessible routes. It features areas of easy climbing, very narrow edge crossings and requires several rappels.
It can be considered a route that makes the transition from traveling unmarked trails and steep valleys (hiking) to mountaineering.
