Description

Zaiko Adventures organizes ice climbing courses.

Whether you are a beginner or have tried before and would like to learn in an organized setting what ice climbing means, this course is for you.

The ice climbing course includes:

initiation into ice climbing,
proper use of ice axes and crampons.
positions and methods of moving on ice.
insurance techniques, regroupings and retreats.
theoretical notions, the influence of weather conditions on ice, etc.

The courses organized within Zaiko Adventures are conducted under the guidance of an instructor accredited by the Romanian Mountaineering and Climbing Federation (FRAE) or an authorized UIAGM mountain guide.

Climbing courses are organized for a short period, during winter, when ice conditions are favorable for such activity.

Because outdoor courses involve traveling to a waterfall, the courses take place over two days, both during the week and at the weekend.
