Multipitch/mountaineering course – 2 days

Description

To safely venture into multi-pitch routes, you need additional knowledge beyond what is practiced in single pitch sport climbing.

There will be different workshops where each participant will practice the topics covered together with the instructor, as in theâThe course participant must have sufficient knowledge to be able to climb multipitch routes safely.

During the course you will learn:

• recap of nodes used in multi-pitch routes
• comparison between dynamic and static regrouping – advantages and disadvantages
• safety, risk assessment in the wall, fall factor
• self-belaying rappel
• wall communication
• climbing on a blocked rope

The courses organized within Zaiko Adventures are conducted under the guidance of an instructor accredited by the Romanian Mountaineering and Climbing Federation (FRAE).

Multipitch/mountaineering courses are organized throughout the year, and registration can be done at any time, not being conditioned by certain start dates.

Because outdoor courses involve traveling to the rock, the courses will take place over two days, both during the week and at the end of the week.
