Description

 

First day: Departure from Cluj-Npoaca at 8/9, on the Cluj-Aiud-Ramet-Bradesti route. We leave the cars there and go down to the village of Cheia, where we set up our tents or stay at Gabi's, depending on preferences. Short hike in the Ramet Gorge on Brana Caprelor. In the evening we climb Vulturul Peak and if the weather is good we see the sunset from there.
Day two: hike to Piatra Nicaia- Dupa Deal village- Geogel Gorge and return to Cheia. After lunch, departure to Bradesti.

Program

-— mountain boots with grippy soles and waterproof
— change of shoes after the tour (will be left in the car)
— hiking poles – (optional but very useful)
— synthetic t-shirt/undershirt
— thick sweatshirt (fleece) in a bag in a backpack
— wind/rain jacket
— cape,
— headlamp
— mountain pants (quick-drying material)
— sunscreen
— sun protection cap/bandana
— 15-30 liter backpack + rain cover backpack
— 2 liter water bottle,
— medications (depending on each person's possible health problems)
— food for the route (sandwiches, canned goods, energy bars, dried fruits, nuts/hazelnuts)
— Tent, sleeping bag, insulation
