Description

The Bucegi Massif is located at the eastern end of the Southern Carpathians, stretching between the Prahova Valley to the east and the Bran Corridor and the Ialomița Valley to the west. The Bucegi Massif, the most famous mountain area in Romania from a tourist point of view, has an area of about 300 square kilometers and connects the rectilinear segment of the Southern Carpathians with the curved area of the Carpathians.

The Bucegi massif is a natural fortress through its structural and morphological complexity, with peaks exceeding 2500 meters, almost vertical steeps, massiveness and views of unparalleled diversity. It is difficult to praise the Bucegi, because they are unique, they are impressive, they are spectacular, but they are known and trampled by everyone. However, those who enjoy their beauty and tranquility, the famous energy of the peaks, those who listen to the secrets in the depths of the Bucegi, or who believe that, in Bucegi, there is a kind of navel of the universe, know too little about the realities of Bucegi.
