Description

When it comes to climbing mountains, you probably think of the highest peaks. With this tour, we propose to climb together to the roof of Romania.

It will be an unforgettable experience, the program is created in which during this tour you will sleep in a tent or refuge at over 2000 meters, and you will carry food with you for the two days, but you will have as a reward an unforgettable tour in the Fagaras Mountains.

The price is calculated for a group of 8 people. In case of a smaller group the price changes. For details please contact us.

Program

Program:
Day 1. Depending on the participants in the tour, we establish the meeting point. After checking the equipment, we start up the Vistea valley to the main ridge. We sleep in a tent or in the Vistea refuge.
Day 2. We leave our large luggage somewhere down near the refuge and climb first to Viştea peak and then to Moldoveanu. When we return, we retrieve our luggage and continue our journey along the Viştea valley.
Required equipment

– mountain boots with grippy and waterproof soles
– change of shoes after the shift (will be left in the car)
– hiking poles – (optional but very useful)
– synthetic t-shirt/undershirt
– thick sweatshirt (fleece) in a bag in the backpack
– wind/rain jacket
– cape,
– headlamp
– mountain pants (quick-drying material)
– sunscreen
– sun protection cap/bandana
– 40-50 liter backpack + backpack rain cover
– 2 liter water bottle,
– medications (depending on each person's possible health problems)
– food for the route (sandwiches, canned goods, energy bars, dried fruits, nuts/hazelnuts).

It is not included. We will stay in tents or at the Viştea refuge.
Food

It is not included in the price. We will not have the opportunity to eat anywhere on the route, so we need to take enough food with us for the two days.
